How do I work
The workshop-showroom is located in my house attic. Here, I design and make a great variety of handbags, with leather from Ubrique (Cádiz) and Petrer (Alicante).
I use fabrics from Spanish manufacturers (Gancedo, Gastón and Daniela, KA International…) and also international ones, distributed by these great Spanish brands.
The trimmings, carabiners, eyelets, rings… also come from Spanish manufacturers… because that’s the way it should be and because we have to fight for the “Made in Spain” products, the “Spain Brand”.
That’s why you’ll always find a ribbon with the Spanish flag inside my bags, which unequivocally means that this is not made in a country with cheap labor, under questionable circumstances or mass-produced.
PepeBerto bags are made with care, quality and are unique. I do not make more than two or three units per design. But my customers have an advantage: If they see one that they like, they can order it in the color and pattern they want, with longer or shorter handles, more or less interior pockets, and in the leather and fabric of their choice … A design “à la carte”!
I do not do mass production, I like to invest the hours that each of my items deserves. That is why the deadlines between the order and the delivery, require a certain time, depending on the model and size. I apply the philosophy of “haste makes waste”.
You can buy all my bags through in a variety of ways: My web page where I post them as I finish them; my workshop-showroom (that you can visit by appointment); at the Open Day events that I organize during the year; as well as at craft fairs. I will inform you of my presence at craft fairs and sales through this website and on my Instagram account Pepeberto_design
